Conner is going to be a....
Yep! You guessed it! :)
Though we weren't planning on it at this very moment, the Lord has blessed us with another baby. We were going to try and aim for another spring baby, but this new, little bundle of joy is due in October. Though I wasn't able to plan my pregnancy leave around the end of the school year, this will be perfect timing...it'll run right into Thanksgiving & Christmas break! The Lord really does know what He's up to, even when we don't!! Ha! :)
David came up to the school last Friday to read to our class. (It was Read Across America Week) Anyway, he wanted to tell my kids the news, though I wasn't ready yet. He finally convinced me once he informed me of his ingenious, creative, and "teachery" plan. He asked my students to write 3 things about "Mrs. Crenshaw" that he may not know, and then he wrote three things about me that they may not have known.
He wrote:
1. Most important...She loves Jesus
2. She loves Mexican
3. She loves Wheel of Fortune
Then the class played a mini Wheel of Fortune game to reveal that Conner is a BIG BROTHER!
(I'm tellin' ya...the man covered everything from asking the kids to write a #1-20 so that there wouldn't be fights over who got to share to suckers!! I was VERY impressed!)
My kids seemed to be excited...it's a bit hard for them to grasp the concept when I look practically normal, for now. Although, rest assured, THIS time WILL be different! I'm already out of my jeans!! ;o
