It's neat to get a sneak, peek into his world at school. Makes me feel so good to know he's happy and cared for!!!

This is Karen and "the other Conner", Conner L. :) She said the kids LOVED eating the cookies...can't say I blame them!

**Also, one of my co-workers was so sweet to share a Shrek costume with us. It's too big, but we may put Conner in it and walk to Andrew & Sarah's tonight. If we end up doing it, trust me...the Blog World will know about it!! ;) **

Pumpkin Day

Conner had a little fall party at school today. (we provided the goodie bags :) I tried so hard to get there and at least see part of it, but we had our party at school as well and there was quite a bit to tidy up in my classroom after the kids left. Plus, there's nothing more terrible than walking in on a Monday and feeling unorganized and unprepared...reluctantly, I MADE myself stay until 3:00PM. Then, I was out of there...HELLO WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, when I walked in, all the children had a cute, black, completely oversized t-shirt that said, "BOO"!! Though I don't really get into the whole "Halloween" scene, they were ADORABLE!!

We didn't do a costume this year due to time- WOW, what a busy week, $$$, and the fact that he's not even two yet. Ha! He won't remember how much Mommy & Daddy deprived him. :)

Our sweet ladies in the cafeteria snuck this "pumpkin egg" into my salad yesterday. It totally made my day...it's the little things in life!!!!

Visting Granny & Baby Jay

Granny had surgery on her back last Thursday, so we went to visit her on Friday. Praise the Lord for a wonderful report!!

While we were there, Uncle Joe and Conner, along with everyone else, were entertained by a hair-net thing. Ha! :) The simplicity of life! I love it!!!

We took dinner over to the Renick's tonight and got to hold precious, Jay. He's adorable & quite a strong little fella! Nathan & Robin are doing great...it was so good to catch up with them!

It totally STINKS that they have to move...BIG TEAR! :(

Conner LOVES shoes! He'll walk around the house picking up his/our shoes and take them to us while saying...shu, shu! It was hilarious watching him try to maneuver Nathan's boots. Haha - he's very determined!

Perfect outfit for the occasion, I must say! :) Thanks, Granny! We LOVE the shirt!!!

We decided to venture out to the fair...oh, at about 7:00PM. I was a little nervous considering that we would be out and about way past Conner's bedtime, but we fed him, bathed him and took the challenge. I'm SOOOO glad we did. It turned out to be a great night, and I'm glad Conner got to see all the lights.

Baby Jay!!!

Baby Jay is HERE!!! Robin went for a regular check-up on October 8th and found out she had high blood pressure. The doctor sent her in to monitor her levels and they decided to induce on the 9th! Her due date was on October 20th...just a tad bit early! :) Anyway, everything went so well, and Baby Jay couldn't be more precious. The new family is doing GREAT, and they are super-excited about going home today. I cannot wait to spend more time with little man, Jay and look forward to watching him grow up. (even though they'll be in Texas :(....Thank THE LORD for blogs that help us all stay in touch. But, hey -- they're not moving until January, so I have a few months to take advantage of for sure!!!!! I love y'all and am so, very happy for you and your precious gift from God!

6lbs. 11oz. 21inches of pure sweetness!!

I know I say this quite often, but good grief....look at how time FLIES!!!!!

He was once a 6lb little thing himself...

My sweet, beautiful, intelligent, outgoing, "t"-totally, awesome sisters, ALYSSA and RACHEL have informed me that I do not post enough videos, and when I do, they're not long enough. SO- for those of you who do not know, both of our families live very far away, and the blog truly is the best way to stay in touch and for them to watch Conner grow & change.

I vow to work on that from now on...even though it may come across as a bit excessive. Also, the video footage may seem random from time to time, but that's just what our family wants to see. (it's the only way they can)

I'll remember who it's for!! :)

By the way, off subject, I had a terrible day yesterday, but once I got to the hospital to see The Renicks and started my WEEKEND, it got MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better!!! Today's gonna be GREAT!! My sweet friends, Pete & Jenna are getting married. After that, we may head on out to the fair and cook steaks tonight...can we say WhOo-HoO!?!

Nonna Comes to Town! :)

My mom flew in town last week and is staying until tomorrow morning. I will drop her off at the airport at 5:45 in the MORNING...yep, EARLY morning for us, but most of all, it breaks my heart to see her go. This has been such a sweet trip because Conner knows and loves her so much! I have a feeling he's going to have a hard time accepting that she won't be at the house tomorrow. He loves his NONNA...and we do too!! :) We've been visiting family, and Conner was able to play hookie (sp?) and stay home with Nonna. Not to mention, she's helped me catch up with cleaning and COOKING! David said that he's gonna tell my dad she has to stay...his tummy has been very satisfied these last few days. She done good, as country folk say! :)


We missed you, Poppy!! :( As you can see, this picture is very old, but I couldn't resist posting it. :) I love you Daddy and cannot wait until Christmas!!!!!

Ode to Sistahood!
Old pics, once again. My mom obviously hasn't taken many pictures lately. I was pregnant with Conner in these...:) Time to start using that camera of yours, Momma. We'll take care of that in December!
