No time to post, but doing it anyway!

Okay, so I'm completely in over my head with things to do at the moment. There's still so much packing, cleaning, along with a BIG Wal*Mart run, plus I need to swing by the school to pick up my paycheck...yep, I'm at home right now TRYING to get everything done before we hit the road at 3:00!!!! SIX hours just isn't enough...I'm praying that the Lord STRETCHES my hours, minutes, and even seconds to accomplish all that I "HAVE" to do- forget about what I "WANT" to do at this point! Haha! :)

Anyway, due to everything that's going on, I have zero-zip-nadda minute to spare trying to figure out how to set my blog to private and plug all your e-mail addresses in. (It's been fun hearing from all of you - sorry I haven't replied to each and every e-mail. Just know I love you and am truly thankful for your friendship!!!)

Sooo, the deadline's been extended! :) To who knows when?! I'm actually praying about that right now. Last Sunday I was convicted when I was reminded of a sweet, precious, POWERFULLY anointed family who moved smack dab in the middle of downtown opening their doors to WHOMEVER, WHENEVER for the glory of the Lord and to love on, yes,...even the least of these. Isn't that what we should all be doing? Their family is protected by the arms of our loving Father who guides their every step!! Anyway, I got to thinking...couldn't he protect me and my family from the online crazies out there who simply need to know HIM!!! The Lord could, and I pray He DOES, use my blog as a ministry tool to encourage and draw people closer to Him!!
I know, I'm a deep thinker....however, it's just something that's been on my heart here lately.

I'll keep you posted, but until then please continue sending me your e-mail addresses because if I do go private, it will be sometime during the first week of December. DECEMBER!!?!! Can you believe it? Christmas is around the corner, and it's already beginning to look like it at our place. I thought it would be nice to see "most" everything up when we got back. :)

OH, and David turned 29 yesterday!!!! His last year in the twenties! :) I still have a few more left!! Heehee! Even though we had a lot going on, we let or "asked, begged" Sarah and Andrew to watch Conner so that we could enjoy a meal together. Thank you so much!!!! We love knowing that y'all are just four houses down and that y'all LOVE and take so much CARE of our little boy. He loves y'all too!!! (He's feeling much better today, and his fever broke this morning- PRAISE THE LORD!!) I was wondering how I would've gotten everything done with Conner Man at the house...we sent him to baby school!! They'll keep him up so that he'll be worn out. Perfect for traveling!!! :)

Even Family and Close Friends...

About the going private thing, I'm still going to need everyone, even those who expect to be added, to let me know their e-mail addresses. (I don't have those memorized) So, even my sisters along with other family & friends, need to send an e-mail with all the information...ASAP. I know it's somewhat of a tedious process, but once I plug y'all in, you'll never know the difference. :) HOWEVER, if I don't get your e-mail to send you an invite, you won't be able to view it anymore. :( Thanks for those who've let me know already....we're at 24 members! :) Calling all moms, dads, sisters, grandmas, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, etc....

We're going PRIVATE...

Okay, I've been meaning to do this for quite some time, but I just haven't had the guts to go through with it. After much thought and confirmation (thanks Danielle...among others) I've decided to set our blog to private.
My reservations about the whole thing have been that I have no clue who my readers are and didn't want to prevent Y'ALL, my faithful fans, from being able to view our page. However, with the world the way it is today, I really don't want everybody and anybody to see my family's information & pictures...I tend to be too trusting from time to time, but it's just not worth it with a little one.

Soooo, there's actually a fairly EASY solution. :) If you are a reader of "The Crenshaw Family" and would still like to be, you can e-mail me at davidnshelley@comcast.net or leave a comment to this post to let me know. All you have to do is send me your name and e-mail address so that I can send you an invite. Also, if I don't know you and you periodically visit, I would love to add you as well...just tell me a little bit about yourself and we can become Blogger Buddies. It's amazing the ways you can meet new friends. :)

Anyway, PLEASE e-mail me or leave a comment so that I can add you. I'm curious to know who takes even the smallest interest in our family and would love to continue the "connection"!! Conner and Ellis

The Morgan Family came over on Saturday, so Conner and Ellis got to spend some time together. It started out a little rocky, but as you can see...they eventually hit it off! :)

Conner has started this new thing where he cuts his eyes at you. The picture on the top left sort of captures it...cute, huh?! :)

Conner's sporting my dad's Donald Duck house shoes. He got a kick out of wearing them and now wants to put them on all the time.

We went to Emit's baseball game on Sunday. Conner LOVED being out there in the OPEN fields...until, however, he was ready for his Sunday afternoon nap. He let us know..and everyone else at the ballpark! Haha!!

He has started to watch T.V.!!!! Not that I'm a big t.v. fan or that I'm gonna encourage my children to be, but knowing that Conner can now be semi-occupied with an occasional t.v. show, is very niiiiiiice!!! (His big Christmas gift this year is going to be a kid's armchair...I've been creating one with pillows :) He LOVES to sit like a big boy and he'll go around the house sitting on the windowsills.

Nonna came BACK!! ;)

My mom came in town last Wednesday to help move my grandma. Since she was just here a few weeks ago, Conner REALLY put two and two together that Nonna is a special person in his life...she comes in and out from time to time. :) (Never out, but you get the point) I sooooo wish my family could live closer or us live closer to them. Hopefully there's a change around the corner!! I wish Daddy and my sisters could have come but we're planning to visit them for a few days after Thanksgiving, and they're ALL coming down for Christmas!!!!!!

David and I never get to take pictures together anymore...thought this one was cute! ;)

Nonna and Conner

Last visit, believe it or not, we did not take a SINGLE picture. We made up for it and took several of Nonna and her grandson. ;)

Jackson and Conner had a BIG time playing together and helping clean! ;) Haha! They are so cute together...two months age difference doesn't seem to be much of a difference anymore. The gap is closing in...:)
