Our Growing Boy!

This morning David said that Conner asked to wear his hat to school. Um, OKAY!! We've only been waiting patiently for him to keep the thing on his head. David was quick to say....YES! :) Look at how proud Conner looks!!!

Well, we began the family tradition of keeping up with your height on the kitchen wall today...classic!

It was so hard to leave our house in Redbud where my parents measured us throughout most of our childhood/teenage years. There stood the proof that both Alyssa & Rachel kept growing and I remained my pitiful 5'3" self! Ha! :) Even though we realize we probably won't stay in this house too much longer...maybe a few more years. Regardless, this will remain a family tradition that we will carry with us for many years to come!!

Okay, yeah...so I'm not a weather woman. Ha! :)

My sweet, lovely teaching assistant informed me today that there's not a cold front in the forecast this week. Only rain...we can expect the warm weather to be our friend the next few days or so. THANK THE LORD!!!!!

Yay for WARM Weather!!! :)

We took full advantage of the beautiful, sunny Saturday that we had yesterday and spent a day at the park!! ;) Too bad that there's supposed to be another cold front moving in next week...:(

I'm past ready for SPRING!!!!!

Brandon, Ginny, David, and myself have been having our very own, Battle of the Bands the last several weeks, and I have to say, overall, Ginny and I ROCK!!! (Well, she's really the one who carries us, but at least I don't get us booed.) Haha! Anyway, poor Brandon has been trying his hardest to beat his fiance...however, no such luck yet. I predict there will be many more nights of jamming to come which is fine by me!!!! :)

Brandon and Ginny are getting married in May. I'm so excited for them! They're a GREAT couple!! We love y'all...not only are you both FABULOUS cousins, but we truly treasure your friendship as well!!!!

May the best band CONTINUE to win!!! Hahahaha...;)

Guitar Hero Night!! (Part 2)

Okay...what a cutie pie she is!!! Summer, Bobby, and their precious little girl, Madison came over a few weeks ago with some other people from David's work to enjoy a night of Lasagna and Guitar Hero! We had a BLAST and will have to do that again...soon!! ;)

Conner also thought highly of Miss Madison and would sneak a hug in every now and then....so sweet! :)

New, "Old" Pictures...:)

David's cousin, Tiffany, took these FANTABULOUS pictures on Easter last year. (Conner-12 months) We were able to visit Tiffany and her family on our trip to the mountains for New Years, and she copied the pictures for us. My heart melted. Conner has grown up so much...seeing old pictures makes that all so real. I even "updated" some of my frames at the house with these new, old pics!!! ;)

I love this kid!! I cannot, CANNOT believe he will be TWO in a few months!!!!!!!!!! I'll update "one day" about he's been up to here lately. I'm tellin' ya...he's quite the little man.
