We're BACK!! (Plus a TAG)

Hi everyone!! Sooo much has been going on...see all the posts below!! We are glad to be back home even though it's always hard to leave family. :( Also, we're so thankful to hear that everyone's okay after all the bad weather y'all had recently!! Ginny, we heard about your little adventure...goodness!! I would have been freaking out! The Lord was with you!

Also, we're so thankful that God protected us as we traveled and that Conner did so well! We left Wednesday night to get a jump start, intending to stay the night in a hotel. However, Conner was SOUND asleep and David and I felt okay enough to keep driving...so we did, ALL the way!! We surprised his family by arriving Thursday morning!:) I was nervous about traveling home yesterday since it wasn't during Conner's "sleep" hours, but he couldn't have done better, REALLY!! He had one little meltdown at about the half-way mark, so we took the next exit to stretch. Other than that he slept, played with his toys, or babbled the entire road trip! When we got home, he was a slap happy little boy FULL of energy, so we all three got on the floor and PLAYED, PLAYED, PLAYED!!! We kept him up until about 10:00PM last night so that he would sleep good...and he did!! He woke up at 7:30AM. We are SOOOO proud of him and realize how fortunate we are to have such a TERRIFIC TRAVELER!;)

Well, I've been tagged and should go ahead and follow through with it now cause I have a feeling there won't be much computer time in the next few days...BUSY, BUSY!!!

Five things I would do if I were a billionaire:

1. GIVE, GIVE, GIVE!!!! To whom much is given, much is required!

2. Travel around the world with my family

3. Invest into CDs, savings, college funds, etc.

4. I would shop the same..I LOVE a bargain and just can't see wasting money on high end, "name-brand" stuff...unless, of course, it's a DEAL! I would, however, buy me a NICE, NEW car and a gorgeous house!!!

5. We would fly to see our family once a month...or better yet, move them all close to US!!

1. I'm a stress bucket!

2. I'm also a PROCRASTINATOR, but strangely enough...

3. I become an IMPULSIVE PERFECTIONIST when I finally decide to do something!

5. Leaving UNFOLDED clothes around way too long until they become so wrinkled that throwing them in the dryer doesn't work, and you have to get out the lovely iron!!! I do NOT like to fold clothes, and neither does David! (I would add get a maid to the billionaire list!)

3. My sister and I both worked at Captain's Catch of the Day at the Reservoir. I was a cashier and she was a waitress. You remember those days, Alyssa!?! LOL!:)

4. Bath and Body works during the Christmas holidays when I would come home from college

Welcome Baby Devin!

Baby Devin is so sweet and is doing GREAT!!! Conner didn't pay much attention to little Devin even when David and I were holding him. Since he wasn't jealous, maybe it's time for baby number two?! (Just kidding!!)

Brandy, you're doing such a great job, and the Lord has truly blessed you with this special little boy! We love you and look forward to seeing him grow up through the blog until the next time. It's amazing how fast they grow up....

Conner's Early Birthday at Grandma and Grandpa's

David's parents threw Conner a birthday party since they won't be able to come in town for his at the end of the month. It didn't take Conner long to know what to do with his cake...he'll be a pro for his birthday party at home!:) He even started blowing..I don't know if he was mocking us or if it was just by coincidence. Either way, it's HILARIOUS! He still does it every now and then when he hears a loud noise or is excited.

This one's my FAVORITE!!

They got him a mini four wheeler and he LOVES it!! We might as well start early with our four-wheelin' skills! YIKES!!! (It's not a motorized vehicle...it simply plays songs and makes engine sounds. He will eventually get the hang of pushing it along himself. I was a little scared when they brought the box out..but was later relieved!:)

Daddy took Conner on a ride in a box....how EXCITING!! Look at that face!

Another new favorite...He will be ONE YEAR in a few weeks!!!!!! HOW did this happen?

We drove over to my parents' house and stayed one night with them before returning home. It was well worth it...even though it was just for a short time!:( They couldn't believe how much Conner had changed...the blog doesn't do it justice. Conner's even cuter in person!! Haha!:)

Anyway, we had a great time and enjoyed being together. WE LOVE Y'ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Alyssa, "Aunt La", came into town!! She lives in Myrtle Beach and traveled to my parents' house when she found out we were coming. THANK YOU!!!! We love and miss you so much!:)

David and I are NOT cat people!! I personally feel that they're related to lions & tigers...need I say more! Well, they're also boring and stuck up...just my opinion. Plus, I'm allergic to them which is no fun! Anyway, here's Conner and Mishca.

Momma was able to play for Conner the morning that we left. Conner LOVES music...especially when Nonna and Pop play the guitar and piano.

We've been PAINTING...

We've been so busy around here between packing, organizing, PURGING, painting, and traveling to Virginia/North Carolina. I don't believe I've even announced that we closed on our house on March 31st!!! Yay! We're slowing moving in...:)

We decided to just simply paint the kitchen and living room along with the outside due to the amount of work required...that's AFTER we purchased the paint! Oh well, maybe someday soon we'll get to the others...but NOT now!

David had painted me a sweet message so that I'd see it the next day!:) I love YOU!!

This was David's idea to do a two-tone green for the kitchen...gotta give him credit! I absolutely love it!!

WELCOME Baby Devin!!!:)

Devin Kyle Crenshaw made his arrival this morning around 9:00AM. YAY!!!:) He is a strong, healthy boy with a great set of lungs!! I'm not sure how long he is, but he's 9lbs. 1oz.!!! We are so thankful for his arrival and are looking forward to traveling on Thursday to meet the little man in person. I'm an AUNT for the first time!!...and this is Conner's first cousin...HOW EXCITING!:)

We love you Brandy and hope that you're doing well and getting plenty of rest!
