Our Labor Day Weekend Reunion...a little late 8)

For Labor Day, David's family met for a family reunion in Gatlinburg, TN. Granny treated us to a log cabin where all of her children and grandchildren stayed. We had been counting the days for so long, and it's hard to believe that it's over now! Time flies when you're having fun. We spent most of the day playing with Conner, playing games, shopping, and eating. There were 16 of us that stayed in the cabin, so there wasn't a dull moment especially living under the same roof as Brandon. 8) Oh...which reminds me. Brandon's sweet girlfriend, Jenny, joined us as well. Unfortunately Brandy, David's sister, couldn't come because she had to work. We missed you Brandy...and little Crenshaw too!

We met up with David's parents earlier so that they could spend a little more time with their grandson. Grandma and Grandpa couldn't wait to get their hands on Conner!!

David and I got to slip away for some time alone...time alone? Yes! We went out to eat, to

Wal-mart, and antique shopping. The first picture is at the restaurant, and the next one is at the Dixie Stampede with the rest of the family...it's just a better pic. 8)

We had a little drama about the infant carrier at the Dixie Stampede, but the manager let us take Conner's in after I sweetly, sweetly requested him to do so.

They ended up having to sleep on the couch that pulled out into a bed that was in the living room which meant having to stay up until everyone went to bed and wake up with them as well. Such good attitudes...they never ONCE complained!

We celebrated Michael's 15th birthday on September 2nd at the cabin. Granny baked a red velvet cake AND a strawberry cake. YUMMY!
