Trick-or-Treating

This year was the first year that we ventured out into the neighborhood with all the other kids/families. For Conner's first Pumpkin Day, we went to Crossgates for the Fall Festival, and we just didn't do anything last year considering it would've served no purpose since Conner was too young to get the whole trick-or-treating thing. Well, this year I knew Conner would get a kick out of going door to door and getting CaNdY!!

Since we all wanted to go as a family and neither David nor myself wanted to stay inside to greet the kids, we decided to leave a sign and "hope" that people would be polite enough to not clean out the candy bowl out of greed...much to our surprise and despite the UNBELIEVABLE amount of trick-or-treaters, we actually had some candy left over when we returned. (It was my sign that convicted them! Ha!)

"Please be SWEET and grab "a few" TREATS!"

Conner had just as much fun giving out the candy than getting it for himself...;)

It's truly better to give than receive!!
